Welcome, folks! If you’ve found your way here, you are undoubtedly a Rhode Islander, a former Rhode Islander, or at least someone with exceptional taste in Rhode Island-based humor! Don Bousquet has turned the quirks and foibles of the smallest state into fodder for his cartoons since 1980.

While not all of Don’s cartoons are Rhode Island-themed, the smallest state in the union and its unofficial mascot, the quahog, have been central to much of his work since the beginning.

From 1980 through 2014, Don’s cartoons appeared in The Providence Journal, Yankee Magazine, Rhode Island Monthly, and plenty of other publications.

Some people even think he’s a big deal. In 1991, he received an honorary doctorate in Fine Arts from Rhode Island College, and in 2015, he was inducted into the RI Heritage Hall of Fame!

So feel free to take a look around, but please…

Keep your smart remarks to yourself.
